Rick Alan Sandee

Rick Alan Sandee of Abilene passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. The memorial service will be held at Wylie Methodist Church, 3430 Antilley Road, Abilene, Texas, 79606 on Saturday, October 19th at 10:45 a.m.
Rick was born June 1, 1968, in Traverse City, MI to Elizabeth and Don Sandee, Senior. Rick received his primary education from Cooper High and Hawley High schools.
After High School, he worked in the oil field and found his calling at the City of Abilene Parks and Recreation. In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting, landscaping, and cheering for his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Susan Sandee, and children Lora Moore (Nash), husband Andrew Nash, Chase Sandee, and Sean Sandee and wife Lindsy Gonzales Sandee. Grandchildren Tara Tripp, Alexander Nash, Lilith Nash, Rhaena Sandee, Bella, Liam, and Lilliana Sandee. Mother Elizabeth Sandee. Brothers Timothy Sandee, wife Sabra Sandee, Don Sandee Jr., and wife Carmella Sandee. Niece and nephews Christopher, Simon, Braiden, and Aubrianna Sandee.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Don Sandee Sr., father-in-law Howard Moore, father-in-law Jerry Moore, and sister-in-law Sharon Moore (Hill).
