Rick Turner

Rick Turner age 64 passed away Friday October 17th, 2025 at his residence in Sturgis, KY. He was born March 19th, 1961 to the late Bill and Helen Turner in Sturgis, KY. Rick was in the Deacon program at Brescia University and was a paramedic for 30 years. He was very much involved in his religion. He loved wood working and grilling. He did talent shows where he loved to display his love of singing.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents William "Bill" and Helen Turner, his brother Michael Shaffer, and his grandson Marcus Wolfe.

The funeral will be at 11 AM on Wednesday October 22nd at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Sturgis, KY. Father Freddie Byrd will officiate the funeral mass with Father Jojy Joseph Olickal and Father John Okoro co-celebrating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday October 21st at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis with a rosary service at 6:30. Visitation will then commence from 9 until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home and then proceed to the church.
Burial in Saint Ambrose Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
