RICK L. WAYT
Age 77 of Frankfort, formerly of Rocky Comfort, MO passed away suddenly with his wife Kathy Wayt (Walker) on Thursday, January 30th, 2025.
Rick is survived by his loving family, dear friend T.J. Wade, stepsons, Rob (Dehlia) Wilkins, Chase (Jeri) Wilkins, siblings, Roxanna Ballenger, Mary Helen Inman, grandchildren, Jordan Wilkins, Elena Wilkins, Josh Wilkins, Luke Wilkins, Andrew Wilkins, Chloe Wilkins and many nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Alva & Helen Wayt (Clemens), brother, Floyd Wayt and stepson Josh Wilkins.
Rick was a proud veteran of the US Navy who served in the Vietnam War. He spent many years as a Union Insulator. Rick had a love of travel. He was an expert farmer and dog trainer. He was the best Papa any kid could ask for and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM.
