It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Wiemann, a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and friend. He passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication that will be cherished forever.
Born on February 9, 1958 in Oakes, ND, Rick was a person of extraordinary warmth and generosity. Known for being outgoing and social, he had an uncanny ability to connect with anyone he met, making friends wherever he went. Rick's infectious smile will forever be missed.
Rick was a hard-working individual, always putting his heart and soul into every endeavor. A true jack of all trades, he possessed an incredible knack for solving problems and taking on challenges, no matter how big or small. Whether equipment repairs, house projects, farming, or yard projects, his resourcefulness and determination were unmatched.
Rick dedicated many years to a fulfilling career with John Deere, where he found immense joy working alongside his coworkers and building lasting relationships with customers. His passion for his work and the connections he made there were a testament to his commitment and love for the job. Rick retired January 1, 2025.
Above all, Rick was a caring and compassionate soul who prioritized family and friends. He was always there with a joke to lighten the mood. His sense of humor brought joy to countless lives and created memories that will bring smiles to those who knew and loved him for years to come. Rick had many hobbies including golfing, raising cattle, riding horse, spending time in Arizona hiking, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
