Rickey Cagle Obituary
Rickey Larry Cagle of Stillwater, 75, passed away from this life on December 9, 2024. Rick was born July 12, 1949, to Elic Roberts Cagle and Mary (Williams) Masters in Temple, Oklahoma. He attended high school in Waurika, Oklahoma and earned a degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. He went to work for Mercury Marine after college and worked there until they closed the doors.
He often volunteered as a little league coach and never missed a sporting event of his sons. He enjoyed traveling, his garden, keeping up with his extended family and the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
He was divorced of Linda Kay (Lovell) Newsome and is survived by his two sons, Colby Wade Cagle and wife Shelly, and Travis Lee Cagle and wife Autumn; brother Earl Cagle, grandchildren Aimee Beth (Cagle) Davis, Issac Blake Cagle, Nolan Bradley Cagle, Trenton Douglas Walling, Easton Wyatt Cagle, Kelton Lee Cagle, Thatcher Dearinger Cagle, and Roan Webster Cagle; and great-grandchild Elijah Patrick Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Viewing will be open from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, OK.
The funeral service will be at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00am on Monday, December 16, 2024, with burial to follow at the Temple Cemetery in Temple, OK at 3:00pm.
