Rickey Dix Obituary
Rickey Wayne Dix, son to the Rev. Fred D. Dix, Sr., and Rosa Sebree Dix, began his earthly journey on Thursday, October 17, 1963 in Clarksville, Tennessee. His parents preceded him in death.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Mt. Hebron Community Church.
Rickey was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where he attended and graduated from Clarksville High School, Class of 1982. He enjoyed employment with Vulcan and Krystals.
On Thursday, August 16, 2012, Rickey united in holy matrimony with Easter Williams and together they were the proud parents of three children, Linda, Demetrius and Rickey, Jr.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends listening to music, grilling, and riding in his Chevy S10 Blazer with his fur baby dog, Mr. Wolf. All who knew and loved him will truly miss his presence and smiling face.
On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Rickey departed this life to be with the Lord.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Easter Dix; children: Linda Williams, Rickey Dix, Jr., all of Clarksville, TN and Demetrius Dix, Springfield, TN; sister, Rosa “Mattie” Atkins; brothers: Pastor John Dix, Sr., and Sammy “BoBo” Dix, all of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren: Royalty Dix and Jayce Williams; aunt, Laura Mae Dix and a host of other relatives and friends
