Ricky Don Caldwell of Greenville, Texas passed away September 7, 2025 at the age of 73. He was born to Leland Alexander, Sr. and Juanita Lou (White) Caldwell on February 9, 1952 in Midland, Texas.

Ricky married Kathy Jean Schmid on March 28, 1970 in Princeton, Texas.

Ricky will be remembered for the love he poured into his family. He was the beloved husband of Kathy Caldwell, his partner in life for over 55 years. They built a beautiful life together filled with laughter and love. He was a pillar of strength for his children and grandchildren offering support and guidance. He loved going to the cattle and equipment auctions, where he had many friends.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Kathy Jean Caldwell; son, Mark Caldwell and wife, Lisa; daughter, Teresa Davis and husband, Jared; grandchildren, Sabrina Caldwell and Amanda Davis and husband, Tim; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Elise; brother, L.A. Caldwell, Jr. and wife, Patsy of Paris, Texas; brother, D.L. Caldwell and wife, Jean of Princeton, Texas; sister, Joy Green of McKinney, Texas; brother, Leland Ray Caldwell and wife, Barbara of Princeton, Texas; brother, Terry Lynn Caldwell and wife, Tammy of Princeton, Texas; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.A. and Juanita Caldwell; son, Lukus Caldwell; brother, Bobby Caldwell; and brother, J.W. Caldwell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/ricky-caldwell. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.

I am sad to hear of the passing of Ricky. I met him in 1962 when we all went to Church together. He was a good hearted person. My heart goes out to his wife and children as well as to the rest of the family. To his sister Joy Green as my dear friend, she loves him so much. God be with you all.
