Abbeville, LA – A homegoing celebration for Mr. Ricky Junior Campbell 61, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Abbeville's Greater First Apostolic Church (913 W. Port Street) with Rev. Joseph J. Anderson, officiating.
Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held at Abbeville's Greater First Apostolic Church on Saturday, January 20, 2024, beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Rickey was a resident of Abbeville, LA. He passed at 4:50 P.M. on Monday, January 15, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four brothers: Ronald Campbell (Monique) of Erath, LA, Edward Campbell (Zina) of Lacey, WA, Barry Campbell of Olympia, WA and Joe Ashley, Jr. (Jodi) of Abbeville, LA; one sister: Stella Francis of Abbeville, LA; two godchildren: Scarlet Rideaux and Brooke Reaux; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur Campbell, Sr., and Jean Francis Ashley; one brother: Arthur Campbell, Jr.
Active pallbearers are George Williams Petry, Rodney Lawrence Plowden, Tyrone Bernard, Myron Nunez, Zach Bernard, and Ronald Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Francis, Tyrone Reaux, Terry Plowden, Ronald Wayne Bessard, and Michael Williams
