Ricky Lynn Collins

Funeral services for Ricky Lynn Collins, age 72, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating, with burial following in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ricky was born July 9, 1953, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Jacob and Blanche (Sikes) Collins, and passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Ricky loved hot rods, and Harley Davidson motorcycles and would sometimes talk your ear off about it, he enjoyed watching football with family, especially the OU Sooners. He enjoyed road trips with his wife, often they were spontaneous trips and on occasions wasn't even sure where they were going, they just loaded up the car and started driving. He loved going to live concerts, or just listening to his vinyl records. He enjoyed going to different movie theaters and watching new movies. One of his greatest joys was hanging out with his grandson Dominic Jacob Collins, whether it be eating at Taco Mayo, going around to different car dealerships and looking at vehicles, running errands, or talking about the history of Enid. He took great pride in taking care of his yard, and a good wash or wax job on his vehicles.

Ricky never met a stranger, he was able to have a nice and friendly conversation with people of all different backgrounds, ideas and opinions. He inspired many family and friends not by words, but by his actions and how to overcome adversity with a smile and a great attitude. He would not want anyone to be sad or feel sorry for him, but to go on with life and make the best of what opportunities you have in front of you. He is flying high with family and friends that he has not seen in years.

Ricky is preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Lynn Collins-Von Werder; parents Jacob and Blanche Collins; brother Bart Collins; and two sisters Joyce McNaughton, and Jackie Schweers. He is survived by his wife Connie Collins; son Gary Collins and wife Shawna, along with their children, Ady and Dominic Collins; brother Carl Collins and his wife Karen; stepdaughter Jennifer Farrell and her husband Scott, and their daughters Kaitlyn and Kimberly; and many nieces and nephews.
