He leaves behind his daughters, Becky Beeler and Elizabeth Ailor; grandchildren, Justin Beeler, Zackery Beeler and Emma Foulks; siblings, Joyce Dail, Stanley Dail, Steve (Renee) Dail and David Dail.
Following Ricky's request, he will be cremated, and the family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.

I KNEW RICK DAIL WHEN HE WAS JUST A BOY..
MET HIM IN THE EARLY 70´s, WHEN I KNEW HIS BROTHERS.
I KNEW HORACE DAIL BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY..
AND RETURNED TO MEET RICK´S MOTHER, REVA,
MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS.
AFTER THAT RICK AND I KIND OF DRIFTED APART,
AND I SAW LESS OF RICK,
EVEN THOUGH I BECAME BEST FRIENDS WITH RICK´S BROTHERS.
STILL, I RECALL THAT SHORT TIME WITH RICK.
I ALWAYS CALLED HIM RICK, EVEN THOUGH RICK´S BROTHER,
MY BEST FRIEND, ALWAYS CALLED HIM RICKY.
MANY GOOD MEMORIES OF THE DAIL FAMILY ARE STILL WITH ME.
REST IN PEACE RICK
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
TO ENTER HEAVEN, YOU MUST FIRST LEAVE THIS WORLD
LIFETIME FRIEND OF THE DAIL FAMILY
