Ricky Lynn Gray, III, born into this world March 27, 2025 and lovingly held until August 30, 2025. In his brief time here, Ricky brought immeasurable love and joy to all who had the blessing of knowing him. Though his life was short, it was deeply meaningful and he will remain in the hearts of his parents, Ricky Lynn Gray, Jr. and Debra Self, along with his siblings, Lucie Gray, Ryker Franklin and Lily Franklin. Ricky's favorites were watching Veggie Tales and Ms. Rachel, along with dancing to almost any music. He was full of smiles and was always a happy baby. Ricky loved spending his days with his daycare teachers, Jaylee Pippin and Amy Hodges.

Ricky is also survived by his grandparents, Kitty Thigpen (Mickey Bragg), Ricky Gray, Sr. and his wife Patricia, Teresa Locke, and Clint Self; great-grandmothers, Lucille Gray and Dorothy Bragg; aunts, Flo Adkins and husband, Chance, Alex Self, Lena Self, Ashley Elliot, Reina Bragg, Shantell Lumpp King and Anna Lumpp; uncles, Robert Self, Kevin Caron, Jeremie Locke and wife, Nikki, Oliver Self, Tracen Bragg, Josh Thigpen, Travis King, Clifford Gouge, III and Michael Martin; great aunts, Pamela Bimberg and Teresa Locke Hall.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 5, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverends Paul Smith and Ronnie Wright officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Gray, Jr., Ricky Gray, Sr., Mickey Bragg, and Robert Self.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Carlos Torres and the nurses at Jackson Hospital ER, Marianna Police Department, Marianna Fire and Rescue, and New Salem Baptist Church for the care and support of their precious Ricky.

Funeral services are entrusted to the Lambe family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
