Ricky Wayne Mize

Ricky Wayne Mize, 76, of Vilonia, passed peacefully from this life and into glory on Wednesday, October 8, surrounded by his family. He was born on Monday, December 13, 1948 in Lindsey, California to the late John Rester Mize and Nettie Baker Mize. Ricky was a retired truck driver for Otasco, Walmart, and the city of Cabot. He enjoyed family gatherings, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years, Barbara Tiner Mize, a sister, Janice Tanner, and brothers-in-law Fred Laster and John Pezzulo.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Rita Freeman Mize; his children, Ricky Mize, Jr. (and his wife Kelly), Paula Harris (and husband Danny), Scott Mize (and his wife Debbie), and Craig Mize (and his wife Kelly); his sisters, Mavis Laster, Pauline Farris (and husband Charlie), and Betty Pezzulo; 11 grandchildren, Brandon (Madison), Tyler (Robin), Kaitlynn, Aidan, Connor, Trinity, Bethany (Ronnie), Payton, Travis (Margie), Lane (Sophie), and Rhianna;10 great-grandchildren, Addiken, Draydence, Paralee, Autry, Harlow, Mazikeen, Elliot, Morgan, McKinley, and Jacob; a host of beloved nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Mackey, Bella, and Cocoa.

Memorial services for Ricky will be held at Charity Baptist Church at 250 Balding St in Ward on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation preceding at 1:00.
