Ricky Lynn Morgan, age 63 of Wartburg passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who loved to travel, fish, mow, ride 4wheelers, and camp. He was a sergeant at Morgan County Jail for 16 years. He also worked in security for DOE for 3 years. Ricky was proud to call himself a Christian and was ready to meet the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary June Morgan Scott; brother John Franklin and wife Mary Morgan; brother-in-law Lawrence Hines and former wife Trease.
He leaves behind his wife Louanda Morgan; daughter Talia and husband Matt Smith and their children Levi and Noah; son Joshua and Tiffany Morgan and their son Jesse; sister Eva Mae Hines; nephew Scott and Marla Hines; great nieces Savannah and Chris Coker and Shianne and Forest Adkinson; nieces Cheryl, Donna, Debbie and families; special friends Tom Sexton and Renea and Ricky Collins.
The family will have a Celebration of Life, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at R. Gym (Liberty Junction) from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Disney officiating.
