Tommy Lynn Bray, age 63 of Petros, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 30, 2025.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents Roland and LouAnna Bray and mother and father-in-law Katie and Ronald Williams.

He is survived by his sweetheart and loving wife of 43 years, Ruthie; children Curtis (Billie) Bray, Tyanna (Trenton) James. But his most favorite people in the world was his grandkids, Olivia, Kaydie Bray, Waylon Raylan, Kate Lynn Ward, Landon Armes, Bella, Riley, Clay James, and his best friend, Precious.

He is also survived by his loving sister Cheryl (Mike) Alley; brothers Kevin, Danny (Teresa) Bray, along with several nephews, nieces; sister-in-law Danielle (Ricky) Ward; brother-in-law Sam (Vickie) Williams.

Tommy worked for many years in the coal mines at various places. He was employed at Heraeus Metals, and a mechanic for many people throughout the years. His favorite mechanic job was for the B2 racing crew. Tommy loved life, it didn’t matter if he was watching his brother Danny race his car B2. He loved to watch his granddaughters Olivia and Kaydie play ball, or the grandkids just playing he was happy to do it.

Everyone who knew Tommy knew of his love for poker. Whether he was watching it on TV every day or playing weekly with poker buddies, who will miss him a lot. But most of all he will be remembered for his love and devotion of his family and friends.

He will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Westley Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Petros Cemetery (school house rd).
