Graveside services for David Clinton Bray, 58, of Saginaw, TX, will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home. Visitation will be held

David passed away at home with his family by his side.

David Clinton Bray was born in Spokane, WA, on June 22, 1967, to Richard Webb Bray and Nancy McDonald Bray. He and his mother moved to Garland, TX, and he graduated from North Garland High School, Clas of 1985. David was a truck driver for over 20 years in the food service business. His most rewarding position was with Saddle Creek Logistics Tm. He began his journey as a driver in 2014. Later on, he was promoted to Transportation Supervisor, then promoted again as Transportation Manager.

He loved working for Saddle Creek; he cared about his drivers and their families. He found a lot of joy in this job and took great pleasure in taking care of his drivers. He understood them, and it showed.

He was a man of simple pleasures. He enjoyed his tools and working in the yard and home with his wife and a beer on the porch. Loved the occasional fishing trip. He also enjoyed reading, cooking, watching good movies, and having a laugh. loved eating candy and laughing with his grandchildren as well as watching old cartoons like Charlie Brown and the looney toons he also loved Disney movies. He loved to buy toys and play games he was a child at heart, and his kids and grandkids were a great excuse. He was a great father, all he wanted to do and ever strived to succeed in was being a provider, loving father, and exceptional husband. The greatest thing he ever did though was accept Christ as his savior.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy McDonald; father, Richard Bray; step grandfather, Eddie; grandmother, Clinti Lee McDoanld; father-in-law, Billy Scott; sister-in-law, Barbara Armstrong; brother-in-law, Billy Armstrong.

David is survived by his wife, Melanie Bray of Saginaw, TX; brothers, Mark Vasquez of Colorado and Robert Bray of Spoke, WA; daughters, Emmalee Bray of Harrisburg, IL, Ashlyn Werner and husband Aaron of Phoenix, AZ, and Brittany Lesniewski and husband Caleb of Benbrook, TX; son, David McKenzie Bray of Saginaw, TX; grandchildren, Kairi Norabeth Decker, Caron Lee Lesniewski, Thomas Laine Lesniewski, Elliot Adelaide Lesniewski, Jonah Andrew Lesniewski and Samuel David Lesniewski; brothers-in-law, Mike Scott of Dallas, TX, and Randy Scott and wife LeeAnne of Dallas, TX; niece, Stacy Scott; nephews, Jeff Scott and wife Chelsea of Richardson, TX, and Matthew Armstrong of Dallas, TX; great nieces, Aaron Scott, Chloe Scott of Richardson, TX, and Ashtyn Scott of Dallas, TX.
