Ricky Lee Ray Sr.
Waynesville, Ricky Ray, 57 passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at his residence. Ricky was a native resident of Phenix City Alabama. He was the late son of LeRoy Jones and Lina McConnell. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda McConnell of Alabama and his father LeRoy Jones of Louisiana.
Ricky loved sitting around a fire or standing around the grill cooking his famous Boston butt, drinking ice cold Budweiser, reminiscing of good times, and making everyone laugh. He likes going to the lake to go camping and fishing. He loved football “ROLL TIDE”! He loved spending time with his kids! But most of all he loved spending time with his pride and joys, his grandbabies! Those babies were his everything!
He is survived his four children Kelly Rathbone, Amber Jones, Ricky Jones Jr., and Bryan Ray. Nine grandchildren Brenna, Madalyn, Fisher, Bryson, Kaylind, Lilly, Kendal, Rileigh, and Adeline. His soulmate and the mother of his children Renae Ray. His girlfriend Tonya Sisco, two sisters Vicky Deason and Miranda Ray, two nieces, two nephews, two aunts and many cousins.
No services will be held. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 8th from 4-8 at the Fines Creek Fire Department.
