Ricky Wormington Obituary
Ricky Lynn Wormington, age 66, of Vivian, LA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11th, at 5:39 p.m. in Shreveport, LA. He was born July 12, 1958, in Texarkana, Texas, to Palmer and Martha Lou Wormington. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing with his grandsons, and taking trips with his wife. You could always count on seeing him at his grandchildren's events, cheering them on.
He is preceded in death by his father, Palmer Wormington.
Ricky is survived by wife of 44 years, Sherrelle; son Shaun Wormington (Laura), two daughters; Heather and Hilarie (Clay) and seven grandchildren; Caden, Gavin, and Emerson Wormington, Jaycie Courtney, Paisley Welborn, Laynie and Livie Jenkins, mother; Martha Lou Wormington, brother; Mitch Wormington, two sisters; Jackie Wormington Gould and Nancy Wormington, close friends; Brett Garrett and Jason "Duck" Williamson and many others.
Ricky’s family are grateful to all who have shown their support. In lieu of formal services or flowers, they ask that you honor Ricky and his legacy by donating to Woody’s Home for Veterans or a charity of your choosing.
