Riley Reitsma Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Riley Ann Reitsma, who left us far too soon on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on November 15, 2024 to her loving parents, Tomme Reitsma and Melody Shannon.
Riley brightened the lives of everyone who had the joy of knowing her. With her beautiful light brown hair, chubby cheeks, and radiant smile, Riley was a happy and sassy little soul who filled every room with excitement and warmth.
Though her time with us was too brief, Riley's spirit was undeniably vibrant. She had an infectious joy that brought laughter and love to her family and friends. Each day was an adventure for Riley, and she approached the world with a pure heart and boundless enthusiasm.
Riley is survived by her parents, Tomme Reitsma and Melody Shannon; her siblings, Tomme, Bryanna, Braydon, Brynlee, and Diesel; paternal grandparents, Tom (Shelly) Reitsma and Carolyn Reitsma; and maternal grandmother, Frances Lamb.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Riley's life and the joy she brought to our lives. A Celebration of Life gathering will be take place at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 5:00pm till the time of the Celebration of Life service at 6:00pm with Kurt Flora officiating.
