Riley Jo Scott

Riley Jo Scott, age 9, of New London, Wisconsin passed away in her home on Monday, March 16, 2026. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 7, 2016 to Spencer and Baily Scott. Riley's path through life was never an easy one. Though she never had the ability to communicate with words, she always knew how to get her point across with a simple look or sigh. She had a smile that could instantly turn her Mom's day around for the better. Riley loved playing with her favorite musical switch toys and listening to her big sister Madelyn's stories that usually came with plenty of hugs and kisses. She was loved immensely by her parents and sister, as well as her grandparents, Jamie and Lynn Tews, and Bob and Brenda Scott; her aunt and uncles, Jordan and Jen Tews, and Bob Scott; and her cousins, Carter, Bobby and Avren.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. to celebrate the life of Riley Jo.

We would like to thank the Waupaca County Sherriff's Office and Gold Cross Ambulance for all of their help and their quick response in blizzard conditions. We also want to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Children's Wisconsin, and all of the wonderful therapists, teachers and paraprofessionals that had the privilege of spending time with and getting to know our sweet girl.

Knowing Riley was knowing LOVE in its purest form. She will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.
