Ripley Banks Krewe Howard, a precious gift to the world, was born on June 25, 2024, and left us too soon on August 13, 2024. In his brief yet remarkable time with us, Ripley touched the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him, proving to be the world's best baby for his short 1 month and 19 days on this Earth.
Ripley was a vibrant little soul, who loved being outdoors and had a special fondness for the beach. He delighted in taking two joyful beach trips with his family, where laughter danced on the breeze and memories were made that will be cherished forever. One of the simplest yet most heartwarming sights was Ripley looking at his daddy's yellow vest, a symbol of warmth and comfort for him. These moments established a bond that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
Ripley leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory with them for the rest of their lives. He is survived by his devoted parents, Justin and Alisha Howard, and his siblings: Kay-leigh, Jenica, Adalie, Drayton, Zane, Bentley, and Jasper. His departure leaves a void in their lives that can never be filled, yet they find solace in the moments they shared. He is also survived by his nurturing grandparents, David and Michelle Jenkins, and Russell Dilley, along with his uncles, Keith & Scott Howard and Johnathan Wilkins, and aunts, Regan Wilkins, Hope Howard, and Renea McQuestor.
Ripley was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Renee Howard, a loss that reverberates through the family's hearts. Though he was only with us for a fleeting moment, Ripley's spirit shines brightly in the love shared by his family and will be felt in their hearts forever.
The family invites all who wish to honor Ripley’s memory to join them for a visitation on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM, held at the Belmont Congregational Holiness Church located at 4100 Pine St, Gastonia, NC officiated by Rev. Joshua Martin.
As we remember Ripley Banks Krewe Howard, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the love that continues to grow in his absence. Though small in stature, Ripley leaves an immeasurable impact on all who loved him, and his memory will forever be a source of light in the hearts of his family.
