Rita R. Alekseyko

Rita R. Alekseyko, 95 of 443 East Saylor Street, Atlas passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Rita was born on October 1, 1929 in Atlas and was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Kaminski) Jelus.

She was married on July 19, 1952 in the former Our Mother of Consolation Church, Mt. Carmel to Thomas Alekseyko who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Divine Redeemer Parish in Mt. Carmel.

Rita enjoyed traveling and listening to polkas. She was also an avid bingo player. Above all else, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Kratovich and her husband Joseph; grandchildren, Joshua Kratovich and his wife Sarah, Stacie Stelma and her husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Regan Kratovich and Jaxon Stelma; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Alekseyko.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on a later date. Interment will be in Our Mother of Consolation Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township.
