Rita M. Beaune

Rita M. (Spina) Beaunè, age 87, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at Kent Regency in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Beaunè who passed away on the same date in 2020 after 62 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was the youngest of seven children born to the late Lorenzo and Filomena (Serio) Spina.
In her younger years, she loved going out to lunch with her friends and traveling with her husband. Together, they explored Italy, Greece, and Egypt, and they especially enjoyed staying at Inns and Bed-and-Breakfasts for their delicious food and cozy charm.
Known for her impeccable style, she took great pride in her appearance, always putting thought into every detail from her shoes to her jewelry.
Rita was the devoted mother of Gregory C. Beaunè (wife, Sharon) and Gary Beaunè (wife, Gail); cherished 'Nama' of Gregory (wife, Lauren) and Eric (wife, Julia) and the great-'Nama' of Milana, Romi and Georgia. She was the sister of Anna Lombardi and the late Antonio Spina, Alfred Spina, Louis Spina, Josephine Santa Padre and Angelo Spina.
Family members are invited to gather at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 8:30am before processing to St. Mark Church, 31 Poplar Drive, Cranston where a Mass Christian Burial open to all relatives and friends will be celebrated at 10am. She will be privately interred alongside her husband in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
