Rita Rose Beck (Kneaul), passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord and her late husband, Fred J. Beck, the love of her life, on February 13, 2025 at the young age of 94.
She was a wonderful mother to her four children; Christine Hofer (George), Beverly Myers (Clinton), Kathy Henke (Vernon), and Fred R. Beck. Dear grandmother to her cherished ten loving grandchildren; George F. Hofer (Mariana), Michele Hofer, Matthew Myers (Tina), Joseph Myers (Sonya), Jeremy Myers, Tasha Beck Myers, Will Henke (Allison), Christopher Henke (Brianne), Jeffery Henke and Jacob (Courtney) Beck. She adored her ten Great Grandchildren who lovingly called her GG; Hannah Hofer, Emiliana Hofer, Trista Myers, Daniel Myers, Thomas Myers, Matthew Henke, Justin Henke, Madison Henke, Myles Henke, Lawless Beck, Andre Ereston, and Jeffrey Beck.
She had a hard life losing her husband at an early age of 44 and raising two of her children by herself. Going back to school and getting a job to provide for her family. Her strong faith in God, love for her family and sense of humor kept her strong through all the ups and downs.
Watching her cherished grands was her favorite thing to do. She would take them on the bus to downtown Cincinnati and explore the downtown with them. The family all have many fond memories of her playing and enjoying life with all of them.
No matter how she felt she always had time to enjoy grands and great grands. Even recently while she was in the hospital her littlest great grand came to visit her. He brought his new guitar and she played while he sang her a song.
Her entire family wishes for that one more minute with her to say “I Love You”. She was the rock and light for all of them. Wishing her peace now with Grandpa as they both watch over all of them. As one Great Grand would say “Double Kisses GG”.
Family will join together in the celebration of Mass at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 19th at 10:30 AM. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest next to Fritz (as she called him) at old St. Joseph Cemetery.
