Rita C. Corbin

Rita Corbin stepped into eternity on April 17, 2025 with her daughters by her side. Rita was born November 1, 1923 in Overbrook, KS. She was 101 years old at her passing and lived a quiet life of service to her family and church family. She leaves behind her daughter Janice Taylor of Yorba Linda, CA, daughter Barbara Buus of Lancaster, CA, grandchildren Adam Buus, (Susan), Los Angeles, Kyle Taylor, (Marta), Yorba Linda, Trena Shahla, (Waseem), Montrose, CO, Todd Taylor, Palm Springs, CA. and great grandson's Myles, Zeke and Riggs Shahla, Montrose, CO. She also leaves behind her best friend and sister, June Burgess of Topeka, KS along with numerous, much loved, nieces, nephews, cousins and brother-in-law.
Rita was a member of the Greatest Generation and during WWII she was a Rosie the Riveter at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA,, building B17 Bombers. She was a member of Grace Chapel and dearly loved her Faith Builders small group along with the Friday Senior Chapel group.
