Rita A. Federman

Rita A. Federman, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born in Milwaukee on October 8, 1938. On May 4, 1957 she married Thomas R. Federman in Milwaukee. Rita was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She waitressed in early years and then worked for Mercury Marine until her retirement.

Rita enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers, doing puzzles, wintering in Texas, going out to eat at her favorite restaurant Cedar Lodge, and loved spending time with her family at their cabin.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two sons, Karl (Cindy) Federman and Jesse (Bonnie) Federman; three grandchildren, Andrew Federman, Rachael (Tyler) Dassey, and Wyatt Federman; two great grandchildren, Cora and Brynn; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rodney Federman; and three sisters, Dolores (Ray) Osinski, Sister Mary Charles, and Gerry (Donald) Filut.

The visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM on Thursday at church. Cremation has taken place.
