Margaret Federman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Austin & Bell Funeral Home Springfield on Sep. 6, 2024.
Mrs. Margaret Faye Cohea Federman died unexpectedly from heart failure on August 31, 2024. She will be cremated and there will not be a funeral service.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Eugene "Gene" Federman; daughters, Susan Smiley (Troy) of Ridgetop, TN and Carol L. O'Neil (Michael) of Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren, Jacob Smiley (deceased), Rachel Smiley, Preston O'Neil and Bennett O'Neil.
Born at home on March 10, 1937, she was the youngest and last of Milton and Lorene Cohea's loving family. Mrs. Federman was a member of Greenbrier High School graduating with the Class of 1955 and remained friends with the class members through the years. She attended U.T. Nashville and Austin Peay University and was a Proof Reader at The United Methodist Publishing House for over 30 years. She was a member of the Wartrace United Methodist Church since childhood. She had great love for her family and especially her grandchildren. A clever, funny, generous lady who loved her family and everyone she knew. She also loved dogs, raising several litters of Bassets and ending with a Coon Hound who was looking for a home. A truly GREAT lady that will be missed by all.
