The family will receive friends from 12-2pm Friday at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
Mr. Bay was born November 13, 1958, to the late Willie Bee Bay, and the late Ruby Lee McMurtry. He was the Owner/Operator and Mechanic of his own Automotive Repair Shop.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bay was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wade Bay; grandparents, Earl and Edna Bay, Sr.; uncles, Charles Bay and Earl Bay, Jr.; and special aunts, Sandra Faye McMurtry, Genevia Bradshaw and Dorothy Reed.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie (Damon) Lewis; grandson, D.J. Lewis; brother, Gary Wayne (Becky) Bay; sister, Sandra Elizabeth (Frank) Hoilman; aunts, Juanita Stephenson and Peggy Bay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
