The family will receive friends from 12pm until time of the service at 2pm Monday at the funeral home.
In addition to his father, Mr. Legate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Louise Legate, and J.A. and Dolores Walling; and 2 uncles, Jimmy Walling and Donald Walling.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Maria Legate; brother, Andy (Wanda) Legate; sister, Wendy (Clint) Donoho; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
