Peggy Sue Legate of Point, Texas, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2024.
Peggy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Rawls of big Level Mississippi on January 20, 1944. She worked as a nurse for thirty-eight years. When she was not working she was a devoted mother and grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Virgil Rawls; sisters, Juanita Morris, Louise Thompson and Norma Magee; daughter Robin Bond; and granddaughter, Jennifer Sullivan.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Janet Donovan and Donna Bond; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great children, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Legate will have a service at a later date, under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins Mississippi. She will be buried at Big Level Cemetery in Wiggins, Mississippi.
