Rita enjoyed her job of 38 years at Millhurst Mills Lumber Yard in Freehold, New Jersey. She enjoyed her community in Whiting, where she played shuffleboard and made many great friends.
Rita is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Gant; her daughters, Lorinda Comppen and Deanna Gant.
Rita has been cremated and a memorial service is to be determined by her family.

My name is Patricia Henderson and my brother and I meet Ms. Rita in 2016 when I purchased my first home moving directly across the street from the Gants. Her husband and her walked right over and introduced themselves and welcomed us to the neighborhood. What an impression they made on us, loud and proud! We instantly fell in love with the family. I will always have a special place in my heart for her and her family. Everything smile, hug, kiss will be remembered. I love you so much
