Rita Lovette Lugo

Rita Lovette Lugo, age 46 passed away on August 31, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Rita is survived by her Fiancé Daniel; her parents Annette Rosado and Roberson Lugo, Fabio the Tortoise, 2 siblings, many nieces and a nephew. She was born in Hayward, CA. where she lived most of her life but also lived in Las Vegas, NV., & Tusayan, AZ., nest to the Grand Canyon. She traveled/stayed in Korea and China with her Karate group and visited the Great Wall of China.
Rita was an adrenaline enthusiast, with a big heart with no fear, she has jumped out from a perfectly good plane to sky dive. She enjoyed "The Crucible's" Fire Arts festivals, hiking in the Grant Canyon and Mt Charleston, NV., camping, fishing, the beach, boating, jet skiing, pretty much all water activities, being outdoors in nature. She loved listening to her vinyl records while cooking or gardening and her Navajo Tribal flute music to unwind or sleep. Rita enjoyed Volunteering her time to numerous shelters during the holidays, cooking, and serving meals. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Funeral Services scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B Street, Hayward, CA. 94541, at 11:30 am. Her final resting place immediately after at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. 94544 at 2:30 pm
