Rita Mae Lukas

Rita Mae Lukas, age 79, of Browns Mills, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Mrs. Lukas was born and raised in Jacksonville, IL and had resided in multiple locations throughout the US before moving to New Jersey in 1986. Rita had a big heart, she was a huge animal lover, and thoroughly enjoyed taking care of feral cats. She also spent time assisting by crocheting blankets and donating them to friends, family and those in need. In her leisure, she delighted in making and sharing her chili. But above all, she cherished the time spent with family and friends, especially her good friend Robin and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Rita was predeceased by her husband, Matt Lukas; sons, Chad Adam McGee and Charles William McGee. She is survived by her children, Clinton Wesley McGee, Roberta Lynn McGee, Craig Allen McGee; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a 2:00 PM memorial service on Friday, June 13th at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Final disposition will be private. Memorial contributions in Rita's name may be made to Samaritan Health Care and Hospice.
