Rita Martin

Rita Marie Martin, our devoted mother, loving Nana and beautiful sister left us on Sunday, January 15, 2023, she was surrounded by family as we said our goodbyes. She fought a long, hard battle, but she was ready to go. She will be greeted by Gini, Mama, Lisa and PePa who have been waiting for her. She was a loving caring mother and grandmother who always put family first. She has so many friends, some who will greet her. There are so many memories we can fall back on.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheri Hubbard; grandchildren, Blake Hubbard, Dylan Rhine, Alex Mooney, Devin Mooney, Tyler Martin, Michelle Smith; great grandchildren, Gauge Beck, Alexi Beck, Chandler Rhine; sisters, Rene Chamblee, Anita Martin, Penny Bennett, Brenda Lacey, Penny Stephens, Tammy Martin; brothers, Clay Martin, Lee Martin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

We’re gonna be lost a little without you, but know you are finally at peace.
