Rita LeThel Malone Miller, 89, a proud lifelong member of the East End community, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 surrounded by her family. Rita was born on May 10, 1933 to A.D. and Sarah Hale Malone in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School where she met the love of her life, C.F. Miller. They were married on August 24, 1951 and went on to create a life of love and family together. She was loved by her community where she served, attended church, and loved on people.
Left to cherish the memories are her children Dixie Smith (Phil) of Sargent, Texas, Charlotte Martin (Billy) of East End, Sarah Davis (Keith) of East End, and James Otis Miller (Mary) of East End; grandchildren Mike Ausbrooks, Tom Ausbrooks, Alisha Brooks, Denita Glogowski, Robert Martin, Tiffany Wingard, and Jamie Miller; 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Rita is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, C.F. Miller, daughter Becky Henderson, Daughter Julie Miller, son Chuck MIller, and granddaughter Nicki MIller.
The family will host a memorial service at East End Baptist Church on Monday, November 28 at 10:00am, visitation from 9-10am.
