Rita Louise Seiwell Miller, age 78, of Clarkton, NC, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, in Liberty Commons, Whiteville, NC. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ray Samuel Seiwell and Anna Theresa Hug.
She is survived by her husband, John George Miller of Clarkton, NC., one son Dennis Trace (Kim) of Whiteville, NC., one daughter, Denise Szmanski of Baltimore, MD., two brothers, John Seiwell of Morgantown, WV., Jimmy Seiwell of Baltimore, MD., two sisters Anna Peyton of Baltimore, MD., Betty Yeager of Glenn Rock, PA., six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
A service of Inman Ward Funeral Home & Crematory of Tabor City, NC.
