Rita E. Moffatt

Rita was to born to Eternal Life on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was 85 years old. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. "Chuck" Moffatt; the loving mother of Coleen (the late Greg) Bird and Brian (the late Asia) Moffatt; and the cherished grandmother of Kamryn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rita was born in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 18, 1940, to Ervin and Eleanor Juskowski. After graduating from high school, she worked as a Pharmacy Tech. She met her favorite dance partner and love of her life, Charles Moffatt and they were married on November 16, 1963. When they started their family, first with Coleen and then Brian, Rita became a full-time homemaker.

Over the years, Rita and Chuck loved going dancing and were "regulars" at their favorite dance halls. They also loved going to see live entertainment – they were especially fond of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Rita and Chuck were truly soulmates, leaning on each other through ups and downs, they had 57 wonderful years together. After her beloved Chuck passed away, Rita moved to Florida to be closer to Coleen and Brian who had both relocated there.

One thing that could always bring a big smile to Rita's face was her favorite place – Disney World. She absolutely loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse and had a wall full of decorations to prove it!

Rita also enjoyed watching both college and professional football on tv and never met a slot machine or bowl of ice cream she didn't like.

Family and friends will gather at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Avenue in Milwaukee on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM until services at 12:00 noon.
