Rita O'Hare, of Orange, Connecticut, beloved wife of the late John O'Hare, passed away on August 7, 2025. Born on July 30, 1930 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Mallick, also of Bridgeport.

Rita was a school nurse working for the City of Bridgeport. She had great skill with a camera as she won many awards photographing nature.

She is survived by her son, Alan Firth of Montebello, VA; her grandson, Jonathan Firth of Montclair, NJ; and 4 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy infant, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Road.
