Rita Jeann Puckett

Rita Jeanne "Ogle" Puckett 82 of Garland, Texas went to see her Savior Friday, November 7, 2025.

She was born October 13, 1943 to William Murray Ogle and Doris Irene "Trousdale" Ogle in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life Linard Puckett on November 23, 1962 at the Rodgers Baptist Church in Garland, Texas where she served faithfully for 62 years.

She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years Linard Puckett. Three sons Paul and wife Daynna Puckett of Howe, Oklahoma, Wayland and wife Risa Puckett of Sachse, Texas, Todd Puckett of Sachse, Texas Grandchildren, Kristen Stout of Idabel, Oklahoma, Matthew Puckett of Garland, Texas, Kristina Beasley and husband Travis of Howe, Oklahoma, Maegan and husband Christian Piñón of Melissa, Texas, Ethan and wife Katie Puckett of Royse City, Texas, Logan and wife Katie Puckett of Lavon, Texas, Cason Puckett of Sachse, Texas, Macy Puckett of Sachse, Texas, Braydon Puckett of Sachse, Texas, Great Grandchildren Bryce West of Howe, Oklahoma Hadley and Tucker Grayson of Howe, Oklahoma, Rio and Luca Piñón of Melissa, Texas, Paisley Puckett of Royse City, Texas Brother Gerald Ogle of Rowlett, Texas. Also many Nieces, Nephews, Aunt, Cousins and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A special thank you to Mustang Creek Estates Of Sachse and Prime Hospice for the excellent care for the last 3 years. 

She was a true Proverbs 31 woman in everyway. She loved cooking and in her youth was named Betty Crocker Homemaker of the year in 1961. She cooked for the Missions Conference, working in VBS, singing in the choir and hosting many missionaries, preachers and Yukie Fujii in her home. Sewing was a passion of hers where she took many trips to the deer lease with her niece Mary Flowers. Shopping was a favorite pastime, no it was an obsession especially at Christmas. She was a secretary at Puckett Electric for many years. Most of all she loved her husband, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren and would do anything for them. She will be greatly missed.
