Rita Rendon Obituary
Rita Ozuna Rendon transitioned peacefully on May 16th, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with her magical lungs. Rita was born on July 16, 1954 in Weslaco, Texas by Epigmenio Ozuna and Francisca de Luna Ozuna. She met her lifelong partner Danny Rendon Sr. on December 14, 1977 and they fell in love and married January 14, 1978. They loved to travel and raised two children, Melisa and Danny, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Danny, Sr.; her daughter, Melisa Rendon-James, along with grandchildren, Marina, R.J., Del, Tasha & Kyerra; son, Danny Rendon, Jr. and spouse, Ginger Rendon, along with grandchildren Kalayna, Danny lll, Kaydence & Estevan; her brothers, Mike de Luna, Jesse Ozuna and Ernesto Ozuna; sisters, Severa Avila, Delia Purser, Terry Ozuna-Rodriguez, Cindy Ozuna-Zafar and their families, along with numerous others.
Rita touched many lives with her generosity and passion in life. Rita will be remembered by her many accomplishments. She was a very strong and independent woman who had a love for crafting, antiques, jewelry making and spending time with her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1p.m at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, located at 913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086.
