Rita Samuels Obituary
She was born in Jersey City on May 22, 1935. Rita worked in Long Branch, NJ as a schoolteacher for 29 years, at Lenna Conrow School. The children of Long Branch were very special to her, and she loved every child she had the privilege of teaching.
Rita was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Samuels, her parents, Antoinette and Ottavio Marmora, her brother Vincent, her sisters Anne Yaccarine, Dolores Graniero, Antoinette Marmora, and son-in-law Ronald Geller.
Surviving are her beloved children Annette Geller, Michelle and Alan Suskind; her grandchildren Corri and Michael Guarini, Lauren and Joel Macht, Jaclyn and Simon Gould; and her precious great grandchildren Alexa Guarini, Harrison and Ella Macht, Lincoln and Bodhi Gould. Three sisters, Mary Sause, Margaret Riebesell, Lydia Solari;
two brothers, Anthony and Ottavio Marmora and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Donations in Rita's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.

Even though we recently met, you were my first roommate and became a dear friend. We talked, laughed, and supported each other like we knew each other forever. We all (my family) fell in love with you, your kind ways, and your loving family. I will never forget you, Rita. Your family, friends, and students were so blessed to have you in their lives. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, my friend dear.
