John William Robert Huff of Louisville, Kentucky, died September 2nd, 2025 at the age of 69. Known by friends and family as Rob, he was born on November 3rd, 1955 to his loving parents, the late Victory Fred Huff and Betty Pearl (Harlan) Huff.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Victory Clayton Huff; and wife, Rebecca (Williams) Huff. He will be sadly missed by his son, Robert Branum Huff (Katie); and grandson, Jaxson Evans. He is survived by his brothers, Victory (Mary) and Gary; and sister, Jeanette Anderson (Christopher).

Rob had a love and expertise with firearms, a passion he made into a career with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Rob proudly served 22 years as a Deputy Sheriff, taking on many roles including Weapons Trainer, which he excelled at. After retiring from the Sheriff's Office, he enjoyed visits with his grandson, Jaxson, keeping in touch with colleagues, family, and friends, and being with his faithful son, Branum, for their weekly meetups.

Rob was a big personality and had many friends he would spend time with at the Bambi Bar, where he was a fixture and where he met his wife, Becky. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. The family will receive guests at Highland Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday, September 11th, from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
