Rob M. Leichner, 59, of Russells Point, OH passed away Friday afternoon, September 19, 2025, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH.

Rob was born on June 1, 1966, in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of the late Robert H. Leichner and Patricia A. Ballentine Leichner, who survives in Lakeview, OH.

Rob is survived by his mother, two sisters, Caroline Leichner and Melissa (Jay) Hurley, six nieces and nephews, Megan Shoffner, Cole Wilt, Makenna Hurley, Rush Hurley, Gemma Gibson, and Kai Wilt.

Rob was a 1984 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He worked at GEM Sportwear in Russells Point for 25 years and then at Norco in Sidney, OH for five years. He was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point, and Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533. He was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching Supercross racing, muscle cars, fishing at Lake Erie, and was a skilled pool player. He loved spending time with his family.

Private Graveside services will be held at Huntsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Rob's memory to Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Hospital, 205 E. Palmer Rd, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, OH. Condolences may be expressed at shoffstallfuneralhome.com.
