Robbie Watson, a devoted family man and esteemed member of the Pasco Fire Protection community, passed away on November 13, 2024 in Commerce, Georgia. Born on December 28, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia, Robbie's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and profession.
Robbie is survived by his beloved mother, Janice Saxon Watson Radcliff, and his cherished spouse, Elaine Hadaway Watson. Together, they nurtured a loving family, which includes his daughters, Tabitha (David) Dillard, Melissa (Brent) Martin, and Amy Johnson, as well as his son, Robert Watson. Robbie delighted in the joy brought to him by his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and happiness in his life. He is also survived by his brothers, David Johnson, Stephen Radcliff, and John Radcliff.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy R. Watson, and his brother, Timothy Saxon.
Robbie will be remembered for his commitment to serving others through his career at Pasco Fire Protection and for the love and warmth he brought to his family. His impact on both his profession and those he loved will be felt for years to come.
Visitation will be held on November 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. A funeral service will take place the following day, November 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM, also at Ivie Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.
Robbie Watson’s legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed.
