Mountain Valley Funeral Home - JoshuaRobbin Hood Crawford was born in Wichita Falls on December 5, 1944, to Blanchie Watson and Joseph Crawford. He passed away peacefully early Friday morning, February 6, 2026, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones.
Robbin grew up in Iowa Park, Texas, with his parents, Blanchie and Joseph Crawford, and had many cousins and extended family close by.
Robbin attended school in Iowa Park from 1st through 12th grade. He graduated from high school in 1964 and worked in construction and healthcare. Later, he became an Insurance Agent and worked for Farm Bureau, Allstate, and finally became an independent agent.
Robbin was married and had three children: Christopher Crawford, Jason Crawford, and Patricia Carter. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a tender grandpa. Robbin was a strong Christian man and loved serving others. He was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he attended regularly. Robbin also loved traveling with his wife. They had many great adventures exploring God's creation here on earth, which made him so happy. Robbin loved friends and family and had many hobbies, including gardening, playing the guitar, singing, and preaching God's word.
Robbin was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Blanchie Crawford, and his wife, Ruanne Crawford.
He is survived by his three children and one grandchild. Christopher Crawford. Jason Crawford, his wife Tatiana, and daughter Keira Crawford. Patricia Carter and her husband Joshua Carter.
