Robby Lee Robinson

Robby Lee Robinson born in Columbus, Ohio on April 24, 1982, and passed away suddenly on June 16, 2022 at the age of 40. He is survived by parents, Roger and Charlene Robinson; his only child, Prestyn Robinson; brother, Ian Robinson; uncles and aunts, John and Marie McGarvey, Patrick and Peggy McGarvey, Larry Damron, Chris and Barbara; many cousins and friends- including best friend, Nick Saints.
Robby is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Pat and Joyce McGarvey; paternal grandparents, Mary Hamilton and Ralph "Robby" Robinson; aunts, Vicki Grubb, Jean Holton, Peggy Barrett; and uncle, Charles Barrett.
Robby could best be described as having a fun personality, always wanting to make people laugh. He was a good-spirited person with a very large heart and would do anything to help his friends. He truly loved his country having served two years in the United States Marines. He was an avid football fan with The Ohio State University being his favorite. He also enjoyed watching car races as he was a constant visitor at Columbus Motor Speedway. He had a love for music that started at a very early age, helping his father, along with his brother, setting up for numerous shows his dad would play. He would always come and see his dad perform and help if needed.
Robby loved body art as everyone knew by looking at him. He was a dresser - had to have some type of jewelry on and all his clothing had to match from his hat, to his jersey, to his shorts and tennis shoes. And he always wore sport teams.
Robby will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His fun personality and heart will live on and be remembered forever. Graveside service in Gallia County and a celebration of life in Columbus, Ohio will be held at a future date. Please check back for details.
