Robert Joseph Ackermann

Robert J. Ackermann Spent his final days surrounded by his loving daughters and family; sadly passing away at the age of 80 on Monday January 19, 2026. Born to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Busha) Ackermann on September 20,1945 in Oshkosh, WI. Bob was a graduate of Oshkosh West and began a long and successful career at (Speed Queen) Alliance Laundry Systems for 50 years on the day. By his side for the journey was his loving wife Susan (Jones) Ackermann having wed in 1979. Robert was a long time member of Plymouth Church of Oshkosh. He spent his time when not working, in the woods at his cabin, on the trails hiking, fishing at the lake or at a weekend horse show. His grandchildren had a very special place in his heart and he loved spending time with them as well. Robert is in the lord's warm embrace now, We love you Papa.

Bob is survived by his wife Susan; daughters, Heather (Shawn) Huolihan and Sarah Ackermann, Grand children Adelynn Ackermann-Huolihan and Hayden Ackermann-Huolihan, And very close friend and cousin Gary Busha.

A service for Bob will be held at Plymouth Church (1325 Georgia St) Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12pm. A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service. A burial will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.
