Robert J. Adams, 71, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 6, 2025.
He was the loving husband of Susan (Herman) Adams with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Bob was the son of James R. Adams and the late Mary (Prusak) Adams.
Bob grew up in West Mifflin, PA, and graduated from Penn State University in 1975 with a degree in Computer Science. He was employed for 40 years at SMS/Siemens/Cerner, retiring in May of 2015.
Bob found a passion later in life teaching aerial yoga for 12 years at Yoga Underground and Purenergy Studio. His other joys in life included attending his grandkids’ sporting events and gardening.
Surviving along with his wife, Sue, and father, Jim, are his son Kevin (Tracy) Adams, daughter Kimberly (Sean) Gallagher, grandchildren Jocelyn, Juliet and Joanna Adams and Max and Kade Gallagher, brother Larry (Patti) Adams and sister Jan (Jim) Donis.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, September 19, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
