Robert Addison Obituary
Robert "Bobby" Addison, age 82 of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in a local nursing facility. Born in Felton, Georgia, on August 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Benjamin David Addison and the late Irene Murphy Addison. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Addison, and his brothers, Oscar Addison, James Addison, and Murphy Addison.
A country gentleman from Haralson County, Bobby was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. For many years, Bobby was a long distance truck driver with an exceptional driving record. He was also a member of the Felton Methodist Church.
His survivors include two sisters, Ann Wood and Faye Pope, a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of great nieces and great nephews.
In keeping with Bobby's wishes, he will be cremated.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Addison family.
