Robert Adler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Givnish Funeral Home - Maple Shade on Jan. 4, 2026.
Robert D. Adler Jr., of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife by his side on January 3, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert D. Adler, Sr. and Jean C. (née Geigelman), he was 70 years old.

Robert was the devoted husband of Lucimar "Luci" Adler (née Ferreira); cherished brother of Michael Adler (Frances) and Susan Lipinsky (Edward), and the late Jean Ann Adler. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Robert lived an active and energetic life. A gifted guitar player, he found joy in music and creativity throughout his years. He remained physically active, enjoying cycling, going to the gym, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle well into adulthood. He especially loved traveling with Luci, sharing adventures and making memories together.

In his youth, Robert was passionate about sports. He played Little League baseball and continued playing baseball in college. He also participated in intramural basketball during high school, reflecting his lifelong love of athletics and teamwork.

Robert attended Bishop Eustace Preparatory School and later graduated from Drexel University. A talented and driven professional, he owned and operated his own computer engineering company, taking great pride in his work, independence, and technical expertise.

As a young adult, Robert's inquiring mind asked questions like: Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Is this life all there is? If God is so good, fair, and happy why is the world filled with so much sadness, injustice, and misery? He found deeply satisfying answers while studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. Thus, on April 26, 1980, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and has demonstrated a record of faithfulness until he fell asleep in death.

Robert will be remembered for his love of Jehovah, dedication to family, his keen interest in music and sports, and his entrepreneurial flair.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Saturday January 10th from 10 – 11:30 am.
