Robert Edward Adolph, 87, of West Chester, PA, passed away February 9, 2026.
Born January 15, 1939 in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Otto and Alice (nee Comrie) Adolph.
Robert attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Elizabeth NJ followed by 4 years at Gettysburg College in PA, graduating with a BS in degree in Business Management.
Robert served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.
In 1964 Robert began his long-standing career with DuPont.
In his retired years, Robert enjoyed his global travel with his wife, Marie, as well as community involvement such as the development, mapping, and fund raising mainly for the Sandy Hollow trail in Birmingham Township. He thoroughly enjoyed his community, whereby he invested many hours within his Firethorne Estates residence.
Robert was the beloved husband of Marie D. (nee Falzarano) Adolph; loving father of Robin D. Miller (Craig H.) and Sharon A. McMenamin (Michael); adoring grandfather of Ryan Scheck, Jessica Scheck, Christopher McMenamin (Kelly), and Joanthan McMenamin (Gabby); and proud great-grandfather of Mia Scheck, Lily Scheck, Layla Mendoza, Evie McMenamin, Elsie McMenamin, and Aubrey McMenamin.
Services are private.
